Our history – 50 yearsof growth.
A family business for four generations – from a small workshop in Boden to a complete bioenergy supplier.

1976
Father and son.
Erik Jansson and his son Björn start a small workshop in Boden, selling among other things pre-furnaces that burn wood chips.

1981
Our own pre-furnace.
The company has developed its own pre-furnace – electronically controlled, not mechanically by limit switches. The same year it becomes a limited company.

1986
Mikael joins.
The eldest son, Mikael Jansson, joins the company – starting from the ground up, as one should. Today he is managing director and owns half of the company.

1988
Exports to Europe and Canada.
The pre-furnaces are exported to a large number of countries in Europe and to Canada. The pre-furnace is a great success – it can burn more or less anything.

1990
Magnus joins.
The youngest son, Magnus Jansson, joins the company. Today he is product and marketing manager and owns half of the company.

1996
Luleå University of Technology.
A 15-year collaboration with Luleå University of Technology begins. Together we later run a 300 m² laboratory in Boden and develop a number of products – the horse manure burner has attracted the most interest.

2000
The brothers take over.
The brothers Mikael and Magnus Jansson buy the company from their father, who retires.

1976–2000
More than 10,000 pre-furnaces sold.
From 1976 to 2000, more than 10,000 pre-furnaces are sold – the shaded rings in the log.

2008
The USA and England.
The company starts exporting to the USA and England, and over several years delivers a number of horse manure systems and larger pellet plants. During this period the company is owned by an investment company.

2019
A family business again.
The company is acquired by Biotherm Heat, which is owned by the Jansson brothers. It becomes a family business once more.

2023
The fourth generation.
Liam Jansson, the son of Magnus Jansson, joins the company – the fourth generation.

2026
50 years.
A family business in its fourth generation, with its head office in Västerås and a local office in Luleå.
