About us – The family businessbehind the heat.
We design, deliver and optimise complete bioenergy plants – from the fuel store to the heat. The Jansson family started the business in 1976, and today the fourth generation is on board.

One family.Four generations.
Biotherm Heat is owned by the brothers Mikael and Magnus Jansson, half each, and run by the family. The head office is in Västerås and the local office in Luleå, and our service is nationwide.

Engineering in 3D
Calculations and drawings in IRONCAD. The boiler room is drawn in 3D and 2D, with plumbing and electrical drawings.

In-house manufacturing
Fuel stores, screws, shredders and complete heating plants are designed and built in-house – to suit the site, not the other way round.

Installation
The whole project as main contractor – buried pipework, chimney and substations – or just parts of it. Local plumbing and electrical firms can also do the installation.

Service
Nationwide, for our own and other brands. At commissioning you receive documented training.
05General agent in Scandinavia
Four series, fromthe farm to industry.
As general agent in Scandinavia for PelleTech, we supply boilers, hot-air units and burners, and we design, engineer and install them. PelleTech is part of BWT, Best Water Technology.
06Development
Developed withLuleå Universityof Technology.
In 1996 a 15-year collaboration with Luleå University of Technology began. Together we ran a 300 m² laboratory in Boden and developed a number of products – the horse manure burner has attracted the most interest. The Biotherm burner burns horse manure, extremely wet wood chips and slaughterhouse waste, so that the waste becomes heat on site instead of being stored and taken to landfill.
