Fossil fuels should be replaced with renewable ones. Bioenergy is renewable and is considered carbon neutral – that is the background to our environmental policy.

Growing forest absorbs carbon dioxide from the air.

Residues become fuel
Logging residues become wood chips, and sawdust from the sawmills is pressed into pellets and briquettes.

Fuel becomes heat
In the boiler, the fuel becomes heat for the property, the farm or the industrial site.

Carbon dioxide returns
The carbon dioxide released is absorbed again by growing forest.
That is why bioenergy is considered carbon neutral – unlike fossil fuels. It also gives greater control over energy costs.
