Forest residues become heat for approx. SEK 0.30/kWh with bought-in chips – SEK 0.15–0.20 with your own forest. Rule of thumb: a 100 kW boiler uses about 200 m³ of chips a year.

An even, dry fuel that is easy to automate. Pellets are blown into a silo from a bulk tanker, or filled into the boiler's own store.

Horse manure becomes heat.
Otherwise the manure from the horse farm has to be stored, driven away and taken to landfill. The Biotherm burner fires it on site, with up to 60 % moisture content – or it is dried and pressed into pellets.
